How long did the dead spot last for? An hour?VH-EBL QF72 Singapore to Perth on Friday night worked for quite a bit out of Singapore then hit a dead spot until over the coast of WA.
When it went dead I didn’t check for a while as I was snoozing (having connected from QF2) so I wasn’t testing it. Just tried it again after I woke and it was working and we were over the coast. How long did the dead spot last for? An hour?
Did you ask crew why?VH-EBV did not have Wi-Fi the whole way. Was undiscoverable.
Did you ask crew why?
They wouldn't know. QF doesn't tell them anything either.Did you ask crew why?
Looks like QPH finally back into service a couple of days ago. Replaced by QPI in the hanger.Report on airliners.net that A333 VH-QPH, which is presumably shortly to return to service, has received the satellite bump in BNE maintenance, making it the first in the 333 fleet.
