Re: QF to move from T1 to T3 in London

Interesting that they are permitting Platinum members to use the Fast Track since that seems to go against the normal LHR policy of 1st/Business only

Looks like it is clear that there is no arrivals lounge access nor use of the Spa anymore for Platinum members in economy class

Moving to the main terminal complex is a great improvement

Even so, doubt that I will be rushing to use QF until the 1st product improves

I am now looking forward to that part of my trip LHR-SYD frm T3 - I was not looking forward to T4...

Probably a T3 peculiarity, may not be the case for T5.

This date for the move was first published and posted here back in July by NM.

I have merged the threads.

Indeed. BA are very protective of their 'fasttrack' at T5, lest any OW equivalents manage to sneak in to the queue.

Perhaps Qantas should stop giving out fasttrack passes in Australia to BA Golds/Silvers who aren't flying in J or F to equal things up?

.

I am assuming that it is only for QF departures. It is BAA that runs the terminals and , iirc, the restrictions on fast track for T1-4 at least was defined by BAA ( not BA )
