Qantas RM Williams Business Amenity Kits

And of course QR doesn’t give out amenity kits on all international widebody flights. Neither of the two flights I took last year had one (BOM/CAI).

DOH-CAI is a "business 'branded' :) as First" flight (as you know) and there were kits when I flew that route a couple of years ago. I was expecting a First kit, but no ... totally Business 🤣. But it was half or less than that full. Maybe they had some kicking around?

QR’s new kits should be out by now and they look top notch h too

Something new to look forward to soon.

Just got my first one of the new amenity kits.

Do we believe these bags are made in Adelaide along with other RM Williams gear? Or cheap made in China stuff with a name tag slapped on?
So I think I can answer that now.

“Designed with Williams”. As in, ‘RMW, is this okay to put your name on, if we pay you $xx_’.

RMW not involved in the manufacture or supply at all.

Anyone notice what’s in the tubes of Grown Alchemist stuff? And “ formulated in Australia.” - made in Hong Kong.

The majority of RMW small leather goods (and especially canvas) is made offshore - there's only so much manufacturing capacity in ADL and it's focused on the higher end products where customers will tolerate the additional cost of goods.

These will be from a regular supplier, they've done a similar one in the past with leather conditioner/polish as a gift with purchase.

Source: worked there for years.
