Qantas Red Planet

I do surveys for a number of companies and the points work out to be the equivalent of about $1/hr of time spent. One (e-rewards) links their redemption to Velocity points and the best you get there is 2000VFF for 6000 survey points (typical survey are worth 400-500pts) so 150pts from Red planet for 10-15mins work isn't too bad...

I thought it was a resonable points allocation for the lenght of the survey. Anything longer and I would be expecting at least double the number of points though.

A received a second invite for the BNE survey this afternoon. I completed it when I got it the other day.

So I click on the link to be told it is already completed. Perhaps QF are expanding their work experience pool.

That's not putting much value on your own time!

I also do surveys for a number of companies. They are probably not the best use of your time, but they earn me the odd few extra dollars to salt away in my travel account. I am retired, so my time is my own. The only problem is that at 65, the surveys have thinned out a little, as my demographic is probably not as good as younger people.

Along with online surveys, I also do discussion groups, though you cannot get too many of these unfortunately I did one yesterday on the Victorian Government's Level Crossing Removal project. It was 2 hours and paid $80 cash.

I completed a Red Planet survey last night and the points were in my QFF account early today. Strangely, they posted at the same time as points for a hotel stay from the Avalon Airshow back in February???

Looking back at my account, last survey offered was 10006 on July 31. Think I'll go and eat worms ...
