Qantas reciprocal relationship with KLM/Air France (2020 onwards)

Does anyone know if all KLM and Air France flights are available to book through Qantas?

I'm trying to find a mixed itinerary (MEL to LIS via Singapore) - but the itinerary I found on KLM website is not coming up on Qantas multi trip...

Not sure if that's because they offer limited flights for booking via Qantas codeshare?

Or maybe it's because KLM and Air France offer very aggressive 1 hour transfer times through their hubs...

Or maybe it's just because Qantas multi trip is just not good enough?

Any insight would be welcome
We did MEL - LIS via HKG then AMS ,try that @HSB44 on CX & KLM
It was J classic reward but it is a combination that may be able to be booked via Multi city

Some clarification is needed here. Are you looking to book a classic flight reward or booking a cash fare with the KLM/Air France flights carrying a QF flight number (codeshare)? Remember aside from one classic flight award partner who will remain silent in this thread for reasons (and is not KLM or Air France) classic flight rewards operated by an airline other than QF won’t carry a QF flight number.

Supposing you are indeed referring to classic flight rewards, I do have a suggestion to make if I may: can you search for availability just on the post of the route that is operated by KLM or Air France and see if there is availability there for me (e.g. SIN to LIS). If you can find availability on partners on a given date then the next step would be finding availability for MEL to SIN. If you can then find availability that lines up (e.g., MEL to SIN on a given day connecting to the SIN to LIS either on the same day or the following day) then you should be able to book this out as a multi-city with flight 1 being MEL to SIN and flight 2 being SIN to LIS. The Qantas multicity tool will recognize it as a connecting itinerary and simply charge you the amount based on the total distance flown from the partner award chart.

To your implied question of whether there is Air France or KLM award availability there absolutely is as I recently found such availability for my partner to fly São Paulo to Amsterdam on KLM. Will that availability be the same as you find on Air France KLM Flying Blue? Absolutely not! But this is true for every frequent flyer program I’ve encountered thus far. Heck sometimes Qantas partners release different award availability to Qantas as they do their partners (for instance Qatar with Qantas versus Virgin Australia)

Thanks, I am looking to change a cash codeshare booking to a different cash codeshare booking.

Apart from price, QF1/2 with the BA tag technically would be the same as KLM or AF? As far as avoiding the ME.

I mixed up the destinations in my previous post, having made several flight bookings recently. I am actually flying from Lisbon, as you want to do. LIS-AMS-KUL on KLM. This was booked through multi city, with KUL-PER on MH. Do you have to fly via SIN? If you have no luck using multi city, it could be worth telephoning to book.
