Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

I didn't mean working during the flight. I meant a trip where you work at your destination.
I'm aware, however when flying for work I often aim to get a little done on the plane - especially if you're going to be spending an entire day on it. Whilst I recognise some employers are a little more generous with T&E, mine more or less exclusively sits me in the back of the bus. Whatever can be done to improve the experience really should.

“My issues with the airline is that I think the onboard product is just whatever (aside from the friendly crews), and I don’t love all the ways the airline has tried to screw its workforce over the years.”
Reckon they'll staff the inaugural flight with Aussie crew for the cameras? I am genuinely curious how they'll be crewed from an FA perspective (i.e. London crew for LHR flights, AU crew for those US bound).

I doubt that Neil Perry would have airline menus that involves a Wok burner.
If a certain red haired lady wins in a few years, Neil said he'd leave Australia LOL
The 32” has piqued OMAAT’s interest: Qantas Takes Away Legroom On World's Longest Flight, Going Back On Promise

“…as someone who has been covering the industry for close to two decades, what stands out to me most about Qantas is the never ending hype…But I just can't think of another airline that so consistently overhypes what it's going to do.
We're talking announcing things so many years in advance, and also, often not actually following through on promises.”
A case of shallow brooks are noisy? 🤭

QF's marketing is the best in the World
Hard product great
Soft product avereage
Crews average to good
Price - high

Unless I can get an award seat in F (or J), you won't find me on a PS flight from Syd to Lhr non stop! I suspect award seats in J or F will be rarer than...I just can't see any advantage to save 2-3 hours at a 20% cost premium!

Day after tomorrow, Ìm flying Syd-Sin-Man in Sq J with a total flying time of 22 hrs 15 mins, and 1 hr 55 mins on the ground in Sin...plenty of time to stretch the legs and possibly have a shower in the lounge :)

I’m flying MEL-SIN-LHR-GLA w QF next week and honestly the most exciting part of this itinerary is getting to visit QF F lounge again in SIN (so much so I an taking QF35 so I have a full 5 hours to enjoy it)! I purposely book flights to transit SIN or HKG for their lounges and a non-stop to London has zero value-add for me (quite the opposite)

That being said a non-stop to JFK I would value…but if PS NYC is only via SYD then I’d still rather go via AKL for the ease of transiting…
