I think the problem is that the ACA is completely toothless. The ONE thing that the ACA can do that we can't is put stuff in writing. My number one gripe with Qantas customer service is it's all phone based. Which means no accountability and no follow through, you have to start again every time.
 
That's a different issue, bt you can hardly contact a call centre that isn't open.
If a call centre is open from 8 AM to 8 PM I would argue that's comparable to Qantas' 24/7 call centre. Because if you were to call into Qantas at 8:01 PM chances are you'll actually get connected to someone at 8 AM thereby negating any benefit.
