Why pre-order, I usually can't decided what I want to eat until someone wants my order. The food looks fine in both, the the whole pre-order bit is a turn off to me.
By the way, the picture in question is of the Sea Bass with Moroccan lentils and Cafe de Paris butter and it is bloody delicious.
Is pre-ordering available on J SYD-HKG?
Select on Q-Eat is available in Business on flights from Los Angeles, Dallas, Hong Kong and Singapore to Australia and between Australia and London and Dubai. Select on Q-Eat will be rolled out progressively to other international destinations throughout 2013.

The on-board menu is the same as the pre-order menu, but usually minus at least one item; but there is no way of knowing in advance which item will not be available on-board.Bringing back a old thread
I am travelling in J class next week SYD SCL and I just had a look at the menu for the eat on Q on this flight. I guess I am a little fussy when it comes to food and did not find the menu too appealing for my taste. My question is does the on-board menu differ from what is shown on eat on Q or are ALL the items shown online the same as what I would be getting on-board without a pre order ?
