Following my first and only PC+ achievement last membership year, I've found my motivation and need to earn points has significantly decreased. I'm not sure if it's the imminent changes to the QFF program or the reduced earn rate coming into effect with points earning credit cards but I've put zero effort into earning points via my normal every day spend so far.

I've cancelled my ANZ FF Black credit card as there would be no bonus points this year and the business no longer covers half the annual fee, as they did previous years. I may apply for a new CC next month but I'm undecided if it's worth the annual fee as the ongoing earn rate takes a hit from October. The annual fee may be worth if for the initial 100k points but not so much when the ongoing earn rate drops below 1pt per $ spend.

I've been getting significantly better offers via Flybuys compared to ER over the past six weeks and I've completely stopped looking for surveys via the Red Planet Portal.

I may just be in a holding pattern to see how the removal of PC/PC+ plays out, to better understand how those benefits are integrated into the QFF ecosystem. I have the PC benefits locked in until July 31 2027 regardless.

Anyone else feeling the same way, with a lack of interest in earning QFF points?

Agree, that and/or Amex QF Ultimate.

Thankfully they are the two credits cards I decided to carry into retirement, along with MrsK who has the Amex card. But, time will tell... As I've reached LTG, being tied to Qantas isn't so important for paying for our flights.

Not me - I’ve given up on velocity and I’m getting great offers with EDR. Just did a shop of $100 and earned 2300 Qantas points with stacked offers. I also finally got back to gold with the PC+ 100 rollover and the 40 extra SCs plus status on the ground. I’ll keep gold next year with some CX, BA and AS flights on top of usual QF flights.

Don’t love Qantas but so much better than Virgin and velocity. The final nail in the coffin for virgin was the forever gold rules and the VA flight requirements. Totally unachievable and ignored most of my mid 2000s Etihad flights. I’m 4900 off LTG with Qantas so I might get there by my 60s!

Also just burned off my United and Delta points.

I’d be more than happy with NAB Signature! We get it free as part of our bank package.

I get $100 off yearly annual fee for life of card as a deal… so I kept that one and the Amex pays for itself with the qantas travel credit.

Yes. For me the reduced interest is due to the increasing difficulty in finding CR international flight redemptions in premium cabins. Sure, there are CR seats to find, but only if you are flexible with your dates (or destination).

From my point of view, the main (only?) benefit of PC+ over PC is the SC rollover.

I've been happy with my AMEX Ultimate and the annual flight credit. Sadly I suspect their 1.25 pt per $ rate will also suffer from October though.
I also have the HSBC visa at 1 pt/$. Between those two I managed to reach PC+ this year.
HSBC are closing shop unfortunately, so I need to hunt for a new Visa/Mastercard point-earning card. Although with the approaching demise of PC and the difficulty in redeeming points for CR seats, I'm not sure the effort is worth the trouble.
