I always wished they'd made some higher tiers for the program.

We don’t know yet precisely what’s coming.Only 1.5 months to go in my membership year, and approx 470,000 points in the kitty.
Obviously I won't be interested next membership year.
Has Qantas shot itself in the foot in making it credit card based? (I think so)

I agree the specifics are lacking, but IMO its hard to argue around notification… we were notified in Feb 2026 of changes to likely take effect at the end of 2027… almost 2 years that Points Club will end. Loyalty schemes should have consumer protection rules requiring proper notification of changes!
