You know, the survey Qantas did last year about a potential third points club tier (PC++) at 750k to 1Mil points, It was just a survey, it didnt happen. 1Mill in 12 months is huge considering the challlenge to churn cc those days. Well done.

How much of that was wine?

I’m just 15k short of PC+ for the first and last time but that doesn’t include a QBR transfer yet. I’ll see where I’m at later in the month and transfer the min across. No sweat here!

The massive leg up this year for SYD+1 and I were QF Hotels x3 points promos across a couple of USA stays. The total was enough for one to get to PC with nothing else.

Ironically, neither of us will probably need the 100 SCs rollover next member year - assuming we’re still on the low bar to retain WP. Comp QP is useless, so we’ll just try and make the most of vouchers, discounts and bonus points while it lasts.

Oh, and snagging a few extra SCs while we can! Unfortunately, we’re planning a trip next year on points (with good availability) but will just be in the following member year…

P2 is also doing well with two months left to go in the year...

She has 2 x 90k churns loaded and waiting for $100 spend to knock them over at the start of her next membership year, will have PC almost immediately from that.

400k aus churn is wild, I did maybe 250k from 2 cards, 300k if including transfers in not from SUBs. Impressive stuff.

I'm a PC member, close to reaching PC+ for the first time. I only have 6 weeks to the end of my membership year, and some 80,000 points to go. I would like to make the effort to reach it to be able to rollover 100 status credits to the following year.
I just had a heated argument with AI who insisted that only status credits earned from classic reward flights are eligible for rolling over. I'm sure this is wrong, the AI must be confused by the fact that PC members can earn status credits on CR flights.
Before I make the Herculean effort in earning 80,000 points in 6 weeks, can someone confirm my assumption that all status credits (up to 100), including those earned on paid flights, are eligible for rollover?

Second question: the Qantas help page for Points Club states that points counted towards the PC total include points " transferred from a Qantas Business Rewards account (up to 20,000)". This sounds odd to me, as point transfers normally don't count for earning any status. Has anyone tried this before?

Thanks, this is what I always assumed. AI is not quite ready to take over the world yet.
Qantas Marketplace sometimes has good offers too.

With only 6 wks, Wine is your friend- hiccup!

QF Hotels will take at least 4 wks to post from checkout. QF Shopping can be up to 6 mths.

Worst case scenario, if you’re a few points short, do the sums but buying points direct via QF also count (and no max limit).

As the others have said, AI is wrong/hallucinating. My membership year ends 30 June, and I got the 100 status credits rollover on 1 July

If in doubt, ask AI for its source and/or tell it where to look. I find on Chrome in particular, it often gets information from reddit.

435k from Aus SUBs for me, 187k from spend.

Mine was high as I was able to line up a bunch of credit cards in a high spend period, had up to 3 open at once

If what you're asking is beyond what is in the AI tool's training model (which can be up to eight months' old), the AI tool will go out and do a web search. About 80% of that data comes from social media as that's the greatest source of content, with around 40% from Reddit.
