Hi All,

So on the 8th I flew RJ CDG-AMM-BKK-KUL with the BKK-KUL leg on MH (on an RJ flight number). All flights were in J. None of these flights have actually posted in my account.

So, I figured it's 10 days I'd put a claim in, however it appears that RJ are not available for online claims. Couple of questions:

1. Has anyone else had trouble with RJ flights posting lately?
2. What is the best email address to make these claims? I seem to remember at one point there was a WP email?
3. For the BKK-KUL flight - do I put the claim in as the RJ flight number, or the MH one?

Thanks

Luis

I seem to remember also having to do an email-based claim when I did TPE-BKK-AMM return on RJ. Can't remember exactly how I went about it, although I'm pretty sure I just followed the instructions for an email claim and everything was taken care of. Good luck!

Hi LuisT,

Email a copy of your BPs and Itinerary to: [email protected] - you should receive an automated response with an SR Ticket number for future reference (no that I've ever needed to quote it). The last time I did this (with MH) flights were credited within the day.

Regards,

BD

Thanks. Any idea what email address you used? I went to this page but can't seem to find any email addresses - apparently they want us call!

As suggested by BD1959, you can contact our Frequent Flyer team at [email protected] or by calling 13 11 31.

They will need a copy of your original itinerary and boarding passes to proceed with your claim.

Hope this helps. Please let me know how you go. :)

RJ never works for me either, always needs manual claims :(

Thanks all.

Just submitted points claim to the ff email.

I'd gotten out of the habit of keeping BP's, but luckily managed to find these ones at the bottom of my briefcase.

Same thing happened to me with RJ a few months ago. I also flew in J and didn't get any points. My mistake was not keeping the BP's and when I emailed my claim to QF based on my itinerary, I got credited only for one way and not the return.
When I asked why, I was told RJ rejected my claim for the return flight because I wasn't on board.
Lucky I had a connection on QF flights on both ways and when I called the P1 service team and explained that it's not logical that I wasn't on the return flight with RJ while I was on the return flight with QF (only 3 hours connection), she credited all the points to my account on the spot.

all my RJ flights have appeared under my QANTAS bookings page and have always credited without any action on my behalf (except having to fly of course).

This is old information but a couple of years ago we flew BKK-KUL on RJ and our points/sc never posted. We definitely had our QFF numbers on our bookings which also appeared on the ticket stubs. We later did a manual claim and QF advised us that the points for those flights were already claimed for, for a different FF program. We only credit OW flights to QF, and as it was minimal points and SC we didn't bother following up.

An update on this.

So still no activity in my account so called the WP line to follow up.

Apparently request was only sent to RJ 2 days ago (even though I submitted over a week ago). Also, they said they need to confirm the class of travel. I can still see the booking in my account, so asked they didn't just look there, but apparently they can't see anything that doesn't have a QF flight on it (even though I can).

Hopefully there won't be any problems, but seems to be a very tedious process...

Thanks for your patience. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to assist.

A bit off topic, but does anyone know how to figure out the booking class for RJ prior to purchasing? I'm looking at some flights for next year and wanted to make sure they were eligible for SC and points earn on Qantas.

on the RJ website you can click on the list of fares and it should give you an indication... I know for business class for example the two fares were listed as Cxx_x and Dxx_x ( ie C and D class, or it might have been Jxx_x... you get the general idea though)

I simply called their Australian office to confirm. And what MEL_Traveller said is correct as well (as I discovered afterwards).

Another update - 2 of the flights came up on the statement as "Claimed on another FF Scheme" and the third one came up as "UNSUCCESSFUL - NO RECORD OF TRAVEL". This despite me still having the BP.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif]So another call to the WP line to try and get it sorted. Very helpful agent said she'd need to look into it and talk to her supervisor and would call me back, and a couple hours later points and SC's posted.

Seems that RJ have a habit of doing this, so I'd advise anyone travelling on RJ to take a pic of the full BP before boarding, and ensure it has the correct FF # on it.
