Qantas Points at Shangrila / Jen hotels

Hi all,
does anyone know if i choose at checkin to get Qantas points rather than GC points do I still get Tier nights stays per GC program to count towards membership levels?

You will still get your night/stay credit. In fact, for our recent 2 night stay at Shangri-la, we were credited 4 nights. Our points were credited to KF instead of Golden Circle.
