So Ebay on the Qantas Mall has gone from 2 points per $ to 1 point per $ now to 1 point per $2.
Almost not worth it.

When did that happen? I made a Qantas Mall ebay purchase last Monday; I checked the earn rate beforehand and it was 1pt / $.
Ebay have been reducing the rate on cashback websites recently and I'm guessing this is the same reason the online mall sites rates are now being changed.
As someone above has mentioned Virgin is still offer 2 points per $ for Ebay purchases. You would think Qantas would want to be competitive.

Has anyone had any luck getting a confirmation 'points are on their way' email for iTunes purchases? I stopped getting these around May last year and have made about 10 purchases since then with no luck, yet always have a 100% success rate when using the Velocity eStore for iTunes purchases.
Thanks for the reply. Were you having the same problem as me initially and if so, do you know what you did to get it working. Quite frustrating, as it used to always work for me, but broke about a year ago. Have tried Firefox and Chrome for what it's worth.I had many problems getting it to work to start with, as Online Mall and my computer were not co-operating and playing nicely to open up iTunes to make said purchase.

I wonder whats in it for Qantas to get shoppers to go via Qantas onlinemall with cookies enabled rather than just going direct to the store's website.
Is there a kickback to Qantas to justify the extra points?.
