So it seems that there is still some sort of seat pre-allocation before one gets the chance to checkin, but there is more choice with early online checkin.
Thanks all for bringing it to my attention!
So that two QF Golds with forward aisle preference are allocated 19C and 20C on a Sunday evening flight BNE-SYD on a 737-800.kpc said:I presume (and hope) that QF will still preallocate seats (according to their preferences) for their frequent flyers with status, before they open up the remaining seats for OLCI
Are they seating Golds that far forward now??? :mrgreen:JohnK said:So that two QF Golds with forward aisle preference are allocated 19C and 20C on a Sunday evening flight BNE-SYD on a 737-800.

Online check-in
Question
Does Qantas offer online check-in?
Answer
Yes, we do offer online check-in for Australian domestic Qantas and QantasLink flights between 24 hours and 1 hour before departure.
Qantas online check-in allows you to check in online, choose seats and print boarding passes from any computer connected to the internet and a printer.
Without a doubt, given that they are moving to allocated seating next month.Altair said:Oh does anyone think that they will introduce this for Jetstar?
