As a valued Platinum member, we invite you to use your points and be the first to experience Neil Perry’s new restaurant, Margaret.

Join Neil and Qantas Loyalty CEO, Olivia Wirth at this exclusive dinner being held on the evening of Tuesday 22 June 2021.

This dining experience will give you an exclusive first look at Margaret, with each package including:
  • Entry for two guests, seated at a shared table
  • Canapés and coughtails on arrival
  • Baker Bleu bread
  • Alternate service three-course menu showcasing Neil's hand-picked selection, including sides
  • Premium wines matched with the menu selected by Margaret’s Chief Sommelier
Named after his late mother, whose caring values inspired the welcoming nature of this new neighbourhood restaurant, Margaret will showcase everything Neil loves to cook. You will find a blend of Mediterranean and Asian flavours that create modern Australian cuisine, reflective of his personal journey.

Package cost for two: 50,000 Qantas Points**

Packages are limited and this exclusive dinner is expected to sell out fast.

This WP didn't make the cut. The URL suggests it may have originally been a P1 event but I can't imagine there are too many P1s who'd willingly subject themselves to even more of Neil's hand-picked selections.

Posts on AFF don't often make me laugh, but this one sure did! 🤣

I seem to recall seeing a similar email offering to attend a QF event along the same same lines. I am P1 and lost all interest when I noticed "we invite you to use your points and be the first to experience Neil Perry’s new restaurant" IME P1 invites are free.

SYD+1 and I (both WP) received said invite. It’s a short stagger/Uber to/from the venue, but we’ll save our points for something more useful (but probably still with NP selections and how can we forget the “inspired salad”)....

I feel a Larry David moment coming on here....just how inappropriate would it be to give Neil some candid feedback at this event on his inspired in-flight cuisine?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
