Qantas' New A321XLR

From the angle the wings look tiny and couldn't support that plane size let alone the big engine which looks disproportionate
Good spot. The wings are tiny! A321 has the same wing as the A320 and A319, which is why it's somewhat range limited without the additional fuel tanks on the LR or XLR. Same wings, same fuel, despite needing more. Engines on the neo are much bigger than the ceo, and also mounted somewhat more forward.

Same features on the B737 max versus NG, and between the B737-9/10 and -8.

Airbus have previously said whatever follows the A321 in the coming decades will certainly have a new wing.
Yeah, Airbus and Boeing played chicken on this with the Max and Neo. Both knew they needed the new wing but would only do it if the other did, and in the end, neither did.

VH-OGA "Great Ocean Road" is flying as QF6106 MEL-SYD right now, however flew via the Twelve Apostles on its namesake and performed quite a few orbits at 600ft (assuming gathering promotional/possibly air to air shots?). Would have been a pretty cool sight to see from the ground. Would have driven down if I had of known.
