Qantas museum finally lands 'Super Constellation'

An aviation museum in western Queensland has acquired an historic aircraft in the Philippines and plans to ship it home for display.

The Qantas Founders Museum at Longreach says it has purchased a 'Super Constellation', which dates back to the late 1940s, from the Manila Airport Authority.

Guessing it's in pretty bad shape as they're not looking to fly it back like they did with other aircraft such as the Catalina. Or perhaps they learnt that lesson (it got halfway and then broke down, adding significant costs). But I'm not sure how easy it'll be to break up, ship and then re-assemble?

Anyone got an idea?
