Qantas Moves Capacity to Europe July 2026

The new title of this thread is actually incorrect - the capacity is coming from domestic. BNE/LAX is being swapped from a 787 to A330 which is actually an increase in number of seats.

Aren't the 332 slightly lower capacity than the 789s?
Plus you've got reductions to other American routes like YVR, SCL and DFW.

Qantas sells two fewer seats on the A330-200s flying BNE-LAX, vs the 789 (234 vs 236 seats) since they have to block all those economy seats to create crew rest.

FCO will be daily, non stop to/from PER
CDG will be 5x weekly (SYD-SIN-CDG)
LHR no change (via SIN outbound)
PER-SIN will be 10x weekly, timed to connect to CDG
Do we know when these will be bookable? I'm not seeing the daily PER-FCO yet when looking for flights on Qantas or EF... unless I'm missing it?

They are probably busy rebooking pax who were originally booked on QF flight numbers on EK or QR metal first before opening up remaining capacity.
