I currently have 3 Mastercard credit cards linked to my Qantas account for Card Offers. When I log in, I can easily add another card but I cannot find any way to un-link individual cards.

I sent an email to Qantas more than a week ago to ask how to do this, and never received a reply.

Am I missing something? I would like to un-link a couple of those credit cards.

Un-linking, or, opt-ing out of data sharing (which is what card-linked offers essentially are) - you would think are a key piece to the equation!

Mastercard (or via Pinpoint) should be able to tell you since they run the platform.

I've never wanted to unlink but I can certainly testify to finding Qantas spectacularly unresponsive regarding (and most of their staff, when they finally do respond, astonishingly ignorant of) Card Offers. The actual operation of Card Offers has gotten much more reliable recently though.

I noticed this the other day as well. I have a cancelled Master Card in the list I wanted to remove. I'm guessing you cannot remove unless you opt out. However, seems silly to have cancelled or expired cards there.

Just received an email from QF that Visa cards can now be linked...

@Mattg did you work out how to remove the credit card details from QF. I have the same issue.

Easily done

1. Go to: https://cardcompanion.qantas.com/your-cards (if you log into qantas.com.au first you wont need to log in again). Menu will look per below.

2. Scroll down until you see the add/remove cards button

3. The linked cards will be displayed, to remove one all you need to do is click on the X, accept the terms and click confirm and continue. I remove cards everytime I churn.

I'm sure that option wasn't there when I started this thread. Good to know!
I think this is a different program - tbh, I’d forgotten and I can’t recall the specifics of the “card companion” program which has my NAB QF Visa Signature.

Whereas the “card offers” program in your OP is the one limited to MC (recently expanded to VISA). I only have my Latitude 28° MC in that one and it’s nowhere to be seen at the link above.

This is the cards linked to your frequent flyer account, for bookings I suspect, rather than to card offers. Thanks for the link though, Lynda, because I've now removed all my out-of-date cards.
That’s different again. I have a couple cards (Biz, Pers, UATP) linked to my FF account.

QFF (and other programs) have an awful lot of hooks into your personal data - in case peeps hadn’t already figured!

Hmm, then I wonder what this is? The page is headed: "Please select the card(s) that are linked with your Frequent Flyer account."

Also, the "removing" of my old cards earlier? Did not stick. Am I surprised? 🤔 😕

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Revisiting this thread because I did this, but still have a bunch of old/expired credit cards linked to my profile for Card Offers that I was never able to remove. The screenshot you've posted, as others have said, is for something else. So those cards are still on my profile and there's no option to unlink them. 🤔

I thought I'd try removing the cards over the phone this morning, since you can't do it online.

The first time, I called the Qantas Shopping number and the lady said she would need to transfer the call to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre. She put me on hold, then the call got disconnected.

The second time, I called the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre. The guy put me on hold, then said he'd need to transfer the call to someone else. He did, and when the second operator was halfway through his first sentence the call disconnected.

A few minutes later, the second guy called me back. He explained that he can't unlink any of my cards over the phone but offered to show me how I could do it myself online. I obviously couldn't do it myself online, which he soon realised, and said someone will call me back within the next day.

Qantas, this should not be so hard! 🤦‍♂️

If this isn't resolved by next week, I think this will be my next step:

You could try your card provider if they’re still valid cards? But there’s a good chance they probably don’t even know that *all* your transaction history is going over (I only linked cards I use for specific purposes).

There shouldn't be an issue with having your old cards listed, unless there is a security risk? That being said it's rather odd there isn't an option to remove...
