I am very new to Qantas club and i am planning on travelling to USA via Fiji Airways as its about $900 cheaper than Qantas for that time frame, from what i see i can seem to still get QF points but i cant seem to find if i am able to use QF Lounge in Melb & LAX and the Tabua in Nadi as a partner or not.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe you need, at the very least, to be on a QF or AA flight number.

I gather you are travelling economy class but booked as an FJ flight not QF codeshare flight (even though travelling on FJ metal)?

If you were travelling on FJ in business class you would get lounge access courtesy of travelling in J - not being a member of QF Club.

Have you got any frequent flyer points to burn?

Nothing is booked as of yet, so I was flexible I am just trying to work out if going via Fiji was the best option or not
