I visited the Qantas Clubs in ADL & MEL today and was surprised to find the showers were all open again. (They had been closed since last year due to covid.)

I asked the QF lounge staff and they said they were reopened a little while ago, and they thought showers are now once again available at all lounges with the possible exception of PER.

Yes I noticed towels outside the toilets when I flew out of MEL after the ANZAC Day long weekend so I had my first shower (at a lounge) for over a year...

Showers were in operation at the BNE domestic business lounge when I visited on 4 April.

Last shower I had in one was March 9th Last year in MEL domestic - no hot water available that morning, but as having just travelled overnight from SIN it was needed.

Showers somewhat less useful now that arrival-lounge-access is no more. Used to be handy to freshen up at the other end when required, esp after a red-eye arrival, then head straight to the office.

This has returned (subject to capacity limits) for Platinum members.

Still, I most frequently used to use the showers before/after overnight international flights. Which aren't back yet.

They were certainly useful post arrival, especially if I went SIN-MEL redeye and was connecting MEL-SYD as I used to do a fair bit pre-COVID. But from time to time I would use the domestic lounge showers if taking an evening flight home after a long day.

Showers still signed Closed in DRW QP, but as noted in another thread the self serve buffet and pour-your-own wine bar in DRW is open... 🤷🏻‍♂️
