Qantas Lounge Invitation for Brisbane.

Hi there. I've been trying to link a QF flight to a lounge invite for a flight departing from the Brisbane international terminal. It's a flight to Norfolk Island, which my sister in law did in June without any issues. However, I have not been able to do this and I have tried for hours and even called up Qantas. They basically said that it is highly likely due to the caps on the capacity. I wanted to know if you guys are experiencing this too? Either that or potentially they're not allowing lounge invites at this time due to the whole COVID thing (and just prioritising access for first/buisness ticket holders)? I would imagine that lounge invites are at the bottom of the list....

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if it closed recently? Or suddenly closed? I did double check on their website and as of the 19th of August, it should be opened.

However, there's this little paragraph:

"This information is correct as at 19 August 2021 and subject to change without notice due to operational requirements or government restrictions."

I shouldn't be suprised, I suppose....

The international terminal lounge was open when the New Zealand bubble was open. Those traveling to Norfolk were able to access the international lounge but since the NZ bubble shut they haven't opened it again. Qantas is operating just 3 flights per week so it hardly makes sense to open it.
