Nope. A few biscuits and a small platter of cheese and crackers is all that was on offer.

Not at all, we didn't bother... waited for the plane food.

Just confirming the lounge set up at ZQN as I'm passing through. Both the Manaia and Koru lounges are situated landside. Access is via a small set of stairs near the rental car desks in the corner of arrivals. There is also elevator access. I'm flying NZ Domestic so in the Koru club now, the lounges are adjacent to each other.

The 'QF' lounge is just the Manaia, so I'd imagine it looks much like CHC, for example, which would be much better than the Koru!

Had my first visit to the Manaia lounge last Sunday. Quite nice for a small airport, decent selection of food and alcohol. A VAST improvement on the Koru lounge next door.

I'll be there again in a couple of weeks so I'll try and remember to get a few photographs.

Yes and be aware they are only open on days where there is QF flight. Found this out the hard way....

Are you sure? From the ZQN website:

"It is open daily from 7.30am to 4pm."

I can confirm this is incorrect as I'm in the lounge right now on a day when there is no QF flight. It officially opens at 7:30am but the lounge dragon happily let me in at 7:15, so not really a dragon I guess!
