Yesterday Qantas accepted 3 bookings from london to Sydney. Sydney leg via Darwin and return via Singapore..
For names and birthdays, there was a error on UK and Sydney QF web site and hope they fix that error since agents could not fix it in London.

When about are you booked?

I'm booked in for September, LHR-PER-SYD. Those 787s don't have many economy seats so we jumped as soon as I heard things were opening up. We were considering booking for a closer date but wanted to play it safe as though we live in NSW I'm a UK citizen, but partner is Aussie. I need to sort that out I get home as it's been pretty scary during Covid not knowing what the rules are going to be :/

UK entry rules are good with traffic light rules and make sure to check UK gov site for rules that apply to your last transit port.
UK gov got PCR test companies that are based in UK and you need to get booking for you and your partner for test kits that will be mailed to your UK address. It's a compulsory test for all arrivals and one warning is although all companies pricing start with 15 pounds for test kit and when you finish adding your data most of them say 15 one is sold and now you have to pay 79 pounds each. I cannot believe UK is gone to 3rd world level for fleecing travellers. If that happens just close that browser and start again with a new provider. I got 28 pounds each for 3 travellers 2 weeks ago and they give you a ref number and make sure to keep it before you travel, since Syd or transit point may ask that number.

BTW, all flights from UK to SYD and return are now via Darwin and 2 days ago Singapore was dropped for some reason.
