If they don't have it on direct flights from MEL/SYD to LHR/JFK, once they have the planes to do that then it'll be clear they're getting rid of F.

Just shows you how everyone is different. 3-4-3 on a 777 is inferior to the 2-4-2 on the A330 any day of the week.

I guess you're right. It's not just 3-4-3 vs 2-4-2. It's general cabin feel and comfort. There are more bulkheads/exit rows on the 747/A380/777 over the A330.

Next month I'm routing SYD-HKG-BKK for QF 747 and EK A380 over the direct SYD-BKK. No extra SCs or points. And in July I'm going back SYD-BNE-SIN-BKK on an economy award over the direct SYD-BKK.
