Hoping to get some views from people, i am flying to London on Qantas in about two weeks and I have both lounge passes for the Qantas International Business Class Lounge and also the The House as well.

Do people have a view on which would be better?

Does your voucher for The House allow you to use it if you are flying QF?

When The House was the Etihad lounge (in Sydney), I kept wondering where were the secret rooms because I wasn't overly impressed. It was just a lounge but others raved about it so what were they seeing that I wasn't.

But did enjoy the dining.

Maybe it's changed, with the name change.

The House looks better, Al La Carte dining etc. Thinking i will give that a go.
For our Sydney visit there were 6 choices on the menu and hubby said one of each please and got one of each (about entree size).

Melb The House (we visited in Dec) menu was larger and just as good.

The House in Melbourne is good, far better than the QF dungeon. It even has proper champagne, though we noticed you had to ask for it. If you didn’t specify you were given sparkling wine.

I have been out of the loop too long. Please tell me more about the “House”

Its the old Etihad/Virgin lounge, which has been brought by No 1 Lounges i think.

Its pay for entry ($80) if you don't have a voucher/invite.
