I was going to reply to this thread, but it has been locked. Qantas Insurance Promotion Mods can feel free to unlock it and move it there.

I was recently reviewing my insurance, and considered QANTAS. I participated in their switcharoo campaign, where you take a call from a QANTAS health insurance representitive, and they'll award QFP1000, even if you don't take the policy. It's not alot, but that's nice. I received a call from QANTAS insurance and explored it, and considered it wasn't any better than what I currently had. I got another call today, and wondered why they were calling me again. I notice that they hadn't yet awarded the points.

I found that the original call I had was through a different lead, which was by getting a quote on the QANTAS web site. The most recent call I got was under the switcharoo lead. Given that I had gotten a quote and requested a call back on the same day, I'm not sure why I would get a call back for the quote on the same day, but the switcharoo call back would be 12 days later.

Turns out that you need to take the "right" call.

Ah, that's what the 1000 points from Qantas Health were from! I'd forgotten I took the call a week or so ago, even though I'm waiting to serve the exclusion period before rejoining.
 
Right I applied on the Qantas website as well and have not heard anything back from them so gave up. I will try the switcheroo site.
