The last time they did it, they used 737s. I reckon there is demand and I would think a business cabin and Y+ seating would be attractive especially if connecting to premium cabins on the Europe bound services. I wouldn’t do this route if I had paid for business but for premium economy I would.That’s what @Flyingwombat did. Flew in and flew out again!
Shame there doesn’t appear to be additional Y+ seats fitted…
If the numbers are there, you’d think it was an ideal route for an A220?
I’m flying to ASP later in the year and all 4 sectors are on A220s - why don’t they put them on this route that is longer?
I will say the network aviation staff were great. Kept offering drinks, snacks and even seconds of the meal. Qantas mainline domestic staff should do this flight and learn what service is…
