Just curious as to the QFF status of users and visitors to this site, and thought I'd experiment with the poll option for posts. I know that Chairman's is not really a QFF level, but thought I'd include it as an option.

silver until annv. date 31/8. Not expecting flights but will re-make it after o/seas trips, etc. post annv. date.

Like QF009 I'm NB, as I earn in AAdvantage (where I'm Gold / OW Ruby).

QF SG here (still debating whether to retain that and AA EXP this year).

I expect there to be disproportionately fewer PS than the other groups as I would expect a lot of people here have managed their status out of PS into SG or WP instead using what they learn here.

Interesting that so far more than 50% have voted Platinum.

I am lucky in that I have Platinum status for another 15 months and plenty of time to decide what to do next.

There is an option to reveal the choice of each voter, but I left this option out. I'm assuming, therefore, that each vote is anonymous.

Platinum status since 2000, have my status till 2009. This May's RTW trip should go some way to ensuring status till 2010.

It would have seemed amazing to me also a few years ago, but now i realise how it is not all that difficult to make platinum and gold is not that hard really if you put a little thought into it.

But lets remember QFF is rather easy to earn status compared to other programs from what i can see.

Many years ago when i pruchased life QP membership it was because all i was doing was cheap domestic flights and thought gold was just almost impossible to reach... QF can i have a refund ;) hold on i probably have got that much value from them already :)

Platinum since 2000 and through to September 2009. Also have life-time Gold. Very handy now that I've retired.

Currently in my third year as Platinum, with this status in the bag until May 31 09.

Earned platinum courtesy of almost weekly MEL-BNE return flights, comped the second year with only ~ 850 SC, and currently sitting at 1,780 for this membership year, courtesy of Y only travel and 2 KUPP's.

Not sure how I will go retaining Platinum with my new position as my travel patterns will no doubt change a bit - more time in the office :(

Started off as NB and rose rapidly to WP via work travel. Stayed there for a while and have sunk back through SG and am now in the doldrums of PS now that I no longer work. How the mighty have fallen:!: Sic transit gloria mundi*

..and are quickly forgotten by QF.

Given the Qantas recognise status on oneworld airlines, the following options could have been considered for inclusion:

  • Non Qantas oneworld Emerald
  • Non Qantas oneworld Sapphire
  • Non Qantas oneworld Ruby

Agree! :D

Non Qantas oneworld Sapphire here with AA, though most flights are with QF.

I'm still Gold, but probably not after Nov 30 this year. I just ain't flying QF. :p

I'm planning to do another poll on oneworld frequent flyer status. This has been my most successful post to date!

Hahaha surely I can't be the only non-QFF member on this site...

I feel so excluded...;):p
