Hi everyone,
My father is a Qantas Frequent flyer Platinum member. I noticed ever since he got the Platinum status, the membership status bar stated he will needs certain amount of status points to get him "the next tier of Platinum" or something to that effect. This include gold status for a family member. I think at that time, he was about 500 status points away.
After he returned from a oversea trip yesterday, I logged on to his frequent flyer page and noticed there is nothing under the Membership Status bar apart from display his current status credits earned from 01 April 2011 is 2,100, and when the Status reassessment will occur.
I may have missed something if there has been a change to this incentive in the last few months. I also can't see anything about Platinum One. Is giving your family member a gold status after you've earned so many status points no longer available or it was never the case?
Can anyone explain to me how this really works please? I really appreciate your help. Thank you everyone.
