Qantas Founders museum’s visitors.

Apparently the whole Qantas Board is visiting the Qantas Founders museum tomorrow for the launch of the new exhibit which is a replica of the Captain Cook lounge which was up stairs on the original 747.

Good t see them supporting the museum.

FYI we did the Platinum Tour today and it was fantastic! Highly recommend it. It was such a great day that we now have pass outs in case we want to come back although, due to the events of paragraph 1 the museum will be closed tomorrow.

Tomorrow's flight QF2534 is only scheduled to arrive in LRE at 14:10 unless they travelled today (or are flying up on a charter?)

Looks like the Qantas board also had a meeting at the Winton Club while they were there. It's just over 100 years since the first Qantas board meeting was held at exactly the same place!

There are also 200 retired Qantas employees up there this weekend. It is a centenary visit that was delayed from last year. They flew in from Sydney and Brisbane on chartered 737s.
