Sounds about right!

Not trying to be rude but in a way I am glad as it makes attaining status a little more pleasing. Now if they would only stop these silly double SCs promotions.

Silly is in the eye of the beholder. I certainly don't find them silly

Agreed - they're handy when volcanic ash or "industrial action" mess up your travel plans when you're running close to the wire.

Hi All

for many years I was QFF Platinum. For the last two years was in a job with little travel so have dropped to lifetime Gold status. Now starting a new job with very large travel to Asia requirement, starting immediately. I think it worth asking QF if they want to attract my business with prompt platinum coverage. Likely they'll decline, but don't ask; never get.

So my question is: who is the best person to contact at QFF?

If you are a part of a decent size corporate they will have an account manager. Those are the people that I contacted for my status match - the timing was perfect as my Boss's boss had just been made CL as a result of some poor service but unless you have a perfect storm like that then an upgrade to WP is unlikely I think.
