Haven't seen this one posted yet, but received this personalised offer the other week.

Targeted offer for double points on all purchases at Big W between 1800 and 2100 weekdays.

Had to pick up a few things myself, so it was a nice little earner today:

I could do with that this week for late night shopping! Bugger!

Looks like it’s also WA only, strangely.

I got another 1 today. Been a very long time between drinks though. Previous to the other weeks promo, maybe 7 or so weeks with no promo in my inbox. Now l've had 3 in 2 weeks (the last 2 were the same, and within 4 days of each other.)

Might want to black out your EDR card number at the bottom of that ;)

I’m not sure what anyone could gain from that EDR number. On my account at least I can lo longer use the number to login as I setup a username, and if anyone wanted to somehow quote my number I’d happily accept your points, same for fuel, because it doesn’t give discounts ;)

Is there a security threat?

I'm just paranoid about putting any form of personally identifiable information online just in case that's all:)

It pays to live in a backwater like Perth sometimes...double points at BigW when shopping after 6pm until 23 December to get people going in late during the new hours...

Nothing for 3 months for me.Plenty of Flybuys promos-and as I am working in Tassie thats fine.About time Woolies sent their rewards program off shore!:p

Got double points or 12c/litre from woolworths this week, two previous weeks were for $100 at woolworths liquor, I think was 350 points or 15cents/litre, as company pays for fuel with Fleetcard I had to take the straight points.

I received the same promo.

But it was an easy decision this time as any $30 tx earns 8cent voucher till end of November anyway...so the 12 cent voucher would only earn 4 cents extra on one tx.

Whereas the double points is for all tx for one week.

Haven’t had anything for a while but got an offer on slabs of Blue Tongue for $38 till Sunday and Christmas Kisses that’ll get me in the draw to win an Ultimate Christmas Hamper, neither points related but the slabs of beer shall earn me points!

Anyone want a Christmas Kiss? - as far as I can tell there’s no mistletoe involved and it’s all electronic :p

Coming in a few months late here, but just realised that you can earn QFF points at Caltex when using your fuel saving docket :oops:

Given that Woolies are giving 8cents per litre off for both Nov and Dec this means a nice 4 QFF per LITRE at the moment.

I swapped my cards to the QFF point earner, and of course was met with the "you don't have any discount" when presenting my card at the checkout..

Nothing showing at my EDR account yet either.

I'll give it a few days, but 4QFF per litre for both Dec and Jan is

50 litres = 8 cents = $4 petrol discount before
50 litres = 200 points = $16 in flights

Just received my quarterly statement. Inside is the usual 700 points bonus offer if I spend at 3 different stores before 24th December.

Additionally offered is a 15¢ fuel saving offer if I purchase 3 18-can Coke packs. Shame I only got some Coke last week, and now have 87 cans in my cellar. I’m not sure another 54 are needed.

I wonder though, if you swap fuel savings for points, would Woolies give you 7.5 a litre, or round up/down? Anyone know?

200 points is not worth $16, unless you are redeeming at 8c/point. I'd be surprised to see where you're getting an 8c/point value from. Don't calculate from the earn rate. Always calculate from the burn rate.

e.g. a simple BNE-LAX return in Business is 192,000 points + taxes. Buying that same seat, costs 7863 AUD + 346.66 taxes. 7863/192k = ~4.1c/point value, if you assume that you'd actually buy that fare for that cost (with $$$). Personally, I don't think a business class seat transpacific is worth that much...

I am valuing it at normal J class fares to/from the US and also to/from Europe.

With the bloodbath of cheap J fares on the USA route you are correct and my points are indeed worth 4.1. But once fares return to normal it's back up to 8c/point. My last fare to the USA I paid for as $7,000 return in J is a bargain and it's better value to hang onto my points for another period when fares are up higher again!

Agreed, JohnK! No, I haven't had cause to try, but the QF website says that "Retrospective points claims [are] not accepted" from Woolworths Supermarkets.
An update on the transaction at Woolworths that did not register the Everyday Rewards points.

I sent feedback to Everyday Rewards last week and apparently they were trying to call me on the weekend. Anyway they sent an email for me to call back which I did today and after a few minutes on the phone I was advised that they will transfer 160 QFF points to my QFF account. Will take up to 72 hours for the points to appear.

Yes I know 160 QFF points is not a great deal but it is nice to know that Woolworths values customer service....
