Have not heard from Woolworths for a long time.

900 points "could" be calculated to have a value of 900 x $0.0072 = $6.48
12c/litre off petrol "could" be calculated to have a value of 150 x $0.12 = $18.00

Do you really think its worth converting your fuel savings vouchers to ff points.... for the best savings possible, me thinks not..... :p
Depends on how you valie QFF points. Not sure why you are only valuing them at $0.0072 as mosst people can get much better value. Now the following calculations are not theoretical but rather real life experiences.

900 QFF points for me would have a value of at least $23.50 (2.5c a QFF point) and for others redeeming for busines class upgrades and business class tickets QFF points are worth >4c a QFF point. Some people value QFF points at 6c, 8c, 10c or more a QFF point.

And the fuel saving is only worth $18....

I agree with everything said here, however my original post was designed to "prompt" everybody to continue to look at what provides them value. Some people will value points higher than others based on economy or business class tickets.

However as I see it, this is an "entry" level card designed for Mr Joe Average, Mr Average may not be aware that ff points are more valuable on higher spend items or flights, Many Mr Averages' out there can only "see" ff points being used for economy seats, some out there with a smaller spend would only see ff points as a way to earn gift cards or small items in the ff store.

Again, my post is to encourage all to consider where the value is.... which will depend on the users participation of the ff scheme.

The above is also relative to Miss / Mrs / Ms Average too...! :p

Quiet in here...

Two offers this week on other family members accounts

1. Spend $30 or more and get either
a)Double Qantas FF points
OR
b)12c/litre off petrol (which can be used to get qantas FF points)

I picked b) As it will give me 6 Qantas FF points per litre, so I'll take both cars and the Jerry cars and fill up to 150 litres for 900 Qantas FF points

2. Spend $10 or more on skincare products and get an offer
a)$10 - 7c/litre OR 150 points
b)$20 - 9c/litre OR 200 points
c)$30 - 12c/litre OR 300 points

I have chosen the 300 points for that one.

Got an offer a few days ago, shopping @Woolies. Minimum spend to earn points started at $90 :shock::shock: I didn't even bother to "click on this box to activate offer" button, LOL

I got one recently to spend $100 on alcohol for 12c per litre off. Wasn't hard at all :!: :D

Wow, that is a lot. My 19c per litre was for buying 3x18 packs of coke cans, before christmas when they also had 2x18 pack for like$20. The 15c per litre was for buying 2x 30 packs coke cans last week, I think I got those for $40.

do I drink too much coke?

You obviously drink a lot more coke than I do. We are still going through some coke that was bought for Christmas :!:

(2009)

Well, the 10c per can return just can't be beaten, just keeps me getting through them. ;)

Actually, for the 2x30 can packs, I'll probably get $15 off the fuel and then $6 for the cans. Practically getting 30 cans for free.

It’s certainly been a while for me, but just received a targeted double points over $30 offer for BWS. I still want some cider, but don’t see any special on their website, so might dip into my surplus this month and go double up.

Just reminded me that I saw a chance to win 1M points if you purchase $50 from the bigW back to school catalog. I think it was with my January QFF statement.

Sorry I don't have details with me as we don't need any stuff. But thought someone might be able to use it.

I saw a flier for this, think it's in my bin. Will dig it out if needed (paper bin, so not a huge hassle)

Last week I got offered 150 bonus points on $45 WW spend.
This week 100 bonus points when I buy 4 WW select brands.
