Qantas employee caught in mid-air sex-act

Sources said the woman, who is not an air hostess, was sitting next to a male passenger and drank several glasses of champagne before the pair decided to join the “mile high” club.

But instead of moving to the privacy of the plane’s toilets, the couple tried to hide their actions beneath a blanket once the cabin lights were dimmed.

So who here was on that flight?

Meh! SWMBO had the couple in front of her do this in 2007 FRA-SIN in Economy. Honeymoon couple, girl on top, blanket over them. We were in the middle 4 seats on each aisle with the kids asleep in the middle 2 seats.

I certainly noticed something happening, but I didn't think I'd be allowed to stand next to them and watch ;) :D

You could've sprung them by pressing their flight attendant call button for them - it's not like they would notice from under the blanket!

Thats not very nice, I suppose you could see if they needed help with the seatbelt at all times requirement?

I hope they were happy, but this incident is a inconvenience for me, as I often fly to LAX or SFO and now have to divert all of my flights out of MEL ;) :D

I think this is the funny part..

"Other passengers complained once they noticed what was going on and flight staff asked the pair to stop before ordering that they split up and sit in different sections of the plane."

They were ordered to sit in different sections of the plane? You never know what might have happened if they were within eyeshot of one another :D

Your wife was allowed to watch though? :p

It just cracks me up that they have to point out it wasn't an air hostess.

Yeah not sure whether they're trying to point out that fact to highlight that it wasn't somebody that should've been doing their job at the time serving pax or whether they're saying it wasn't even a hostie off duty either.

When boarding a flight once I overheard a guy saying to at least 2 flight attendants "how do I join the mile high club?" Maybe he was trying to be funny & impress his football team mates.

Well perhaps if it had been Lisa Robertson before she was fired they might’ve had a good time.

Perhaps I've led a very sheltered life but IMHO this is vulgar! Qantas employee or not. A public place is one thing, at least people can choose to stay or move to another part of the beach/ park etc. but an aircraft seat gross. If anyone tries this on any flight I'm ever on I will out them immediately perhaps after "accidentally" spilling my beverage of choice over the top of them.

Maybe we need the UV light to be run over our next J seat before sitting down?

I agree. I'm no prude, but I can do without this kind of thing.

I think if you’re not noisy, or obvious, and you’ve paid (though why should people in suites only be the lucky ones) and don’t disturb anyone, where’s the harm?

But I think if you’ve paid for a suite, you should be allowed :p

I don't think you should. I take it you've never stayed in a hostel before .... everyone has one of these kind of stories to tell!;)

Agree 100% here guys!

+ 1.

Sleeping is hard enough without this sort of distraction.

Now, if I'd been traveling with Mrs Paddy and she got the idea ...

I remember staying in that huge dorm room on Beachcomber Island in Fiji as a poor student in the early 90s, at least 4 couples were going for it in those bunks!

Seems like a pretty good argument for QF to start confirming points upgrades ahead of staff travellers :)
