Just booked SIN>DXB(F)>AMS(F)>LHR(J) CR through QF for 2nd&3rd June 26.
Had to ring QF to book. Also, flights were dropping off the more I tried (using multi trip function) and would return after clearing cache a few times.
Took a coupla days. 169,800 points & $1400.

I've been calling for a week. Just get the same old message. "If you are not travelling in the next 24 hours, call back". Really useful. Must be because I'm a lowly Gold.

I am back to LTG and get the same message, just stay on the line and you will get through to someone, if they can help is another thing. Since dropping from P1 and WP there is a lot more HUCA

I got the same message and had to call up to get my flights booked. The error has been there for a while.

How many hours the connection between sin dxb and dxb ams?
Does the QF booking call centre allow connections under 24h to be booked?

You can over the phone, not online it seems.

I have misread you other post. To clarify you should be able to find flights with a less than 24 hrs connection time on line. I could find the flights but always errored when booking, I had to call to make the booking. This was the error I constantly received.

You can find them online but typically you need to call to get it ticketed. They will waive the booking fee.

Im thinking of booking 2x SIN-DXB-BRU in J, not multi city booking so simply searching from SIN to BRU.

Closer to the date, if SIN-DXB and/or DXB-BRU segments becomes available in F, can Qantas change the class by segments from J to F?

Multi-city or standard SIN-BRU is just a way of searching. If you select EK it will still be 2 segments on the same ticket and if seats in F become available on 1 or both of the segments you can change to F. If it is a through flight/ far, even if you change one segment to F the entire trip will be repriced (including points) as F.

@dajop are your EK tickets showing as confirmed and ticketed on EK site, if so there shouldn't be any problem with the tickets issuing correctly. If QF have not charged you enough for the taxes I suspect they will catch up in the future, I would just watch to ensure nothing goes wrong in the future.

Yes tickets showing as confirmed on EK site, have ticket numbers in email (although can't find ticket numbers anywhere in MMB, I assume that's normal). Yes they will probably catch up I assume in the future. My ticket says 0 charges, my partners has the full amount, so at least once of us will make the trip

Using the multi-city booking engine, if you book a trip using two different partner airlines, for points purposes each time you change the airline you are considered to have started a new trip, even if the layover is less than 24 hours. :/

No @drcam , 107,700 SIN>DXB, 42,100 DXB>AMS, 20,000 AMS>LHR.
Last leg same points if booked as solo trip.

I see thanks for the info.
It's strange the F availabilities are different when searching Sin-Bru and multi city Sin-Dxb and Dxb-Bru. The Sin-Bru flight legs in F are not available when searching in multi city. Is this normal?

@drcam the multi city is just a viewing engine, it does not change pricing. It is standard that when using multiple carriers in the same booking each sector is charged separately. It is only when you can get a booking on a single carrier from point A to B (even if it is 2 or more flights) will you save a few points. In @Larko1 case has he has actually saved himself around a 1000 points going via AMS. SIN-DXB-AMS is zone 7, SIN-DXB-LHR is zone 8 by around 50 miles. Zone 8 is what I have to pay HND-DXB-LHR.
