I think at current rates you’re pretty safe I think. As a selfish WP (DWYKIA?), I would prefer it's charged just high enough so it doesn't sell out every flight.
I'll eat my words when I fall to SG/PS though.
So at SG level!
My interpretation is that Status has no bearing, if you purchase Economy Plus you are allocated Group 2 (unless of course you hold P1/WP status = Group 1)So at SG level!
I’m not sure there is increased room?My first time in J on a 737 with this configuration and I noticed row 1 has more legroom now. Don't know that this was discussed here, I certainly don't recall Qantas advertising it.
Yeah so an NB purchasing Y+ they end up crowding out the SG priority boarding benefit! My interpretation is that Status has no bearing, if you purchase Economy Plus you are allocated Group 2 (unless of course you hold P1/WP status = Group 1)
It’s a mixed bag for status holders. As I'm reading it the bigger issue is the cost of paying up is going up significantly more now it's being treated as effectively it's own cabin class, rather than just an extra $30 for a bit more legroom.
I presume the second photo is of 9DEF? There are going to be quite a few folks who've paid for a 'window' seat in economy plus who won't like what they (don't) see...I haven’t paid too much attention to this but illustration in this morningsMockeryMercury on line presumably shows it accurately.

$30? I’d pay it in certain circumstances. But I’d want the aisle.
Actually, that’s probably an improvement? You can technically look out a window.I presume the second photo is of 9DEF? There are going to be quite a few folks who've paid for a 'window' seat in economy plus who won't like what they (don't) see...
$ depends on miles @RooFlyerI haven’t paid too much attention to this but illustration in this morningsMockeryMercury on line presumably shows it accurately.

Thanks. I really haven’t been paying attention! If they’re going to price seats down to that level, you’d like to price the middle seat in a category lower wouldn’t you?$ depends on miles @RooFlyer
Upcoming MEL-HBA shows Rows 6-9 @ $40, but my MEL-CNS flight shows same rows @ $85 as PS.
No! Pseudo Premium Economy (ie middle seat feee) would be a nice outcome.Thanks. I really haven’t been paying attention! If they’re going to price seats down to that level, you’d like to price the middle seat in a category lower wouldn’t you?

I would assume so - otherwise no one is paying for them. From the ordinary person with no status point of view, who’s an occasional traveller, can they access Plus seats and pay for them ?

It happens, but I’ve just assumed it was the middle seats not selected by anyoneWe used to see that a lot on VA. No idea what it’s like these days however.
