I have just bit the bullet and purchased Economy Plus seats for our upcoming SYD-PERTH reward flights.
Hoping it will be a bit more space.

Depends on the aircraft and which row/seat you selected, but as a tall traveller I find not having my knees hitting the seat in front the whole flight makes a big difference.

Definitely. Almost want to do a status run to keep WP just for this on a handful of work trips...

Both flights have now been changed to a 737

Do you by any chance have the same email registered for more than one QFF account (eg family, kids etc) ?

Not that I am aware of, no.

But it's possible that my email address is also somehow associated with my partner's QFF account (though I don't get his emails) - I'll double check. Also, for some reason, although his name is correctly entered in his profile, on his app and in the personalised greeting at the top of his account page it says my first name not his, and we can't figure out how to change it.

I'm travelling this weekend SYD to BKK in Y and the seat selection has now fully opened up. The front row (A330 row 24) is showing as $110 per passenger to select (myself and my travelling companion are both WP), all other rows are $0. I phoned Qantas and they said this charge was introduced on 1 July this year and communicated with frequent flyers via email. I can't seem to locate any such notification, has anyone seen this?

Not communicated via my email, but I was told over the phone as well. Front row should open up a few hours before flight even up till boarding for free selection. In my experience as stated earlier, around 7hrs prior I was able to select row 23.

That seems to be an in between A332 enhancement. The complete refit includes IFE screens. But presumably, that’s decent legroom?

Yep legroom feels very similar to economy plus on 737. Decent gap to the seat in front.

Looking across the aisle and my neighbour has knees just touching seat in front. So definitely worth checking any A332 bookings in future and if there’s no row 23 be sure to select the side sections for extra room.

Row 26 is especially bad on this config. You have half a window. When row 25 reclines you have no window at all.

No Economy Plus decals on the bins yet. I assume they’ll be added once it officially launches for the A330s.

The bulk of the 332s with iPads won't be upgraded but are getting this Economy Plus config.
(Only 10 upgrades of 16 in the fleet. Believe EBG and EBL will be the two without seatback IFE that will receive it)
