"All the unions realise that there's some turbulence ahead," said ACTU aviation spokesman Richard Watts.
"It all raises a difficult issue for the Qantas employees and if I was flying Qantas around Easter I'd be looking to see what what other airline [flights] and trains are available," he said.

It's interesting that they argue independence, but if you look at say things like applications for capacity, it is always Qantas that makes the application for Jetstar. So things aren't as independant as Qantas and Jetstar make it out to be.

Will be interetsing to see how the court ends up ruling on this though. It does not seem clear cut either way.
 
Interesting indeed....

I am flying on the 4th so I am hoping any strike action is avoided.
