When are regional flyers going to be treated as proper worthy customers? Even though Qantas sprook a return to hot food and free beer and wine on domestic routes, they just don't deliver regionally. A regular Cairns Brisbane Cairns flight still has no beer or wine available. Id even pay for it but with flights costing over a $100 more then competitors im not sure why i should have too, particularly for nothing in return. Believe it or not i asked last week for a coffee. Sorry sir we don't serve hot beverages on this flight. Qantas you are making it hard to stay loyal.

Strange, my evening flight from TSV to BNE last week had free beer and wine in Y. Also had hot food (box of 3 party pies). Wonder what timings get the free booze? Or are they still in the process of rolling it out? Any QFlink 717s still around doing BNE to CNS and TSV? Maybe that's a different experience again but I thought QFlink always had free booze after 4pm.

Yes RandyH after 4 was always the go. They have replaced the QLink 717s with a full QF A320. But nothing, not even tea or coffee. Last week was about a 4.50p departure and 2.15hr flight. A coughty revolting biscuit and can of mineral water. It really disappoints me. Been flying with them forever, platinum FF, but nothing. They are losing me and many others that fly that route. Virgin is back and at least let you buy a drink with the $80 ticket price saving.

Beer, wine, tea and coffee available in J on QF711 BNE-CNS this morning.

Byron Bay cookie was the offering on PQQ-SYD last week-barely worth the organising

SYD-TMW last week was the same. Lunchtime flight was a cookie, tea/coffee, water, soft drinks. Fine for a short hour flight but the lack of alcohol was a tad annoying.

Obviously those responsible for buying the Spiced Choc biscuits haven't tried them. The flavour reminds me of Nyal decongestant medical I'd be given a young fellow.

Re (my) bolding: there lies the problem! You keep flying with them. So they think that they can get away with it.

If people want better service they either need to write in, or vote with their wallets.

Well QF714 Bne to Cns continued to disappoint. 1.10p.departure, still no beer or wine available. At least the celery sticks actually tasted better then the old stale biscuits. About to depart to Weipa on the 4.35p QF2482, let's see how we go. QLink and after 4pm.

And again no drink service and they couldn't give an explanation.

According to Qantas it's complimentary after 5. Doesn't say what happens before 5!

Wine and beer is offered free of charge on all our domestic services from 5pm every day, except on flights over three and a half hours, where it's available from 9am.

On my last trip to Cairns end Feb 2021 return there was no complimentary alcohol and again it was a bar of sorts (choc muesli) and water or soft drink. No hot drinks.

BNE-TSV Monday morning- 717 ( all Y class ), just a hot little Frittata.
TSV-CNS last night, free drinks and snack pack
