Qantas disguises first class seats as $20 ‘cabin in the clouds’ on Airbnb

For some reason I can't seem to search "Anywhere" in the search box on Airbnb. :(
Try opening a new Airbnb page and type “Anywhere-homes” into the search box and then it should let you set other parameters from there.

I was wildly excited to see that the dates were not greyed out, but then the checkout date threw me and I think the moment I hesitated over that lost me precious time.

What a puzzle !

So much free advertising for BNB.

Not really.. if anyone sets the filter to $20 they aren't seeing much (in fact I'm surprised there is anything there)

I can confirm that this promo is in fact authentic. I was fortunate enough to find the AirBnB flights at 0600 hrs yesterday morning. My wife and I are off to LA in April 2020, flying F Class for 50,000 Qantas Points.
Congrats!!! It’s great to know that someone has had success!! Now that you’ve hit the jackpot, care to share what you did? Were you searching specifically for these listings or did you happen upon it by chance? If intentional, what were your search criteria? Many thanks for any helpful info!!

Thanks. I searched the price and narrowed it down to $20. I also selected "Plane" in the "Unique Stay" filter. When I performed the search yesterday morning there were 4 flights available. I successfully booked two of them but was contacted by Qantas to pick one of the two as the t&c's state that you can only book one flight per AirBnB account. The flight that I chose to return to back to the promo was LHR to Syd on QF2 in J Class (4th November, 2019). I know that these flights were re-added to the AirBnB site at 1215 hrs today.

Qantas closed down the AirBnB profile that contacted me at 1216hrs today. I can only assume that they opened a new profile as there were a number of people following there profile. This was the profile url https://www.airbnb.com.au/users/255303912/listings.

Congratulations and welcome aboard- stick around, there is a lot of info here for everyone

Hi everyone

Has anyone had any luck with routes other than Los Angles or Santiago? I must be doing something wrong to find things as i can click the link above but when i search the same criteria nothing appears. Is that because it has no dates available anymore?

Did you keep scrolling through the calendar to find the dates, 1, 2, 3 May 2020 were available to book when i looked a few mins ago. And were you logged into your AirBnB account and is your account verified?

Thanks Lynda2475, turns out that i hadnt used my account in a long time to it had to be verified again which ive now done. Thank you for that tip. hopefully more will turn up

Hi all, I am new to this forum (never knew it existed!) and have tried everything you have mentioned in the past threads but nothing at all shows up! The only one I can see is Santiago because I saved it yesterday when someone posted the link to it.... I've tried everything from Everywhere homes, to every city on its own, to $20, to ticking Plane...
After reading the above comment I've only just verified my account again but still nothing shows up. I have absolutely no idea what I am doing wrong! I'd appreciate any help / suggestions - thanks!

Hi Lynda2475, thanks for this info. It's all a bit confusing isn't it! This listing for Santiago (Unique private suite with bright, airy backyard - Planes for Rent in Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile) states the flights are specifically for 8 Feb 2020 in the 'Read more about this space' section, but then showed availability on 1, 2, 3 May 2020 (as per your experience this morning). Hard to know what to do, how to book etc, if one is even lucky enough to see any availability at any time!! Hoping more people have success though!

So it seems like there have been 2 rounds of dates being released each day?
