QANTAS says it is no longer pursuing a maintenance joint venture with Malaysian Airlines and is not in talks about a possible link-up.

”Qantas is not in any active discussions on mergers with Malaysian and we're not pursuing further discussions on potential maintenance, repair and overhaul joint ventures,” spokesperson Sophia Connelly said.
