Qantas Delays/Cancellations

QF6 tomorrow (19th Oct) from PER to SYD is having the departure time pushed out. First by 30 minutes this morning and now to 1pm. Any idea what's going on there?
The QF6 inbound aircraft is coming in late which would explain the initial 30 minute delay.
The further delay to 1pm is now due to a tail swap. Inbound aircraft from QF10 looks like it is taking QF6 over to Sydney.

That makes sense. Out of curiosity, how did you figure this out? Also, any idea why they're switching aircraft?

I think it was reported that bed bugs were on the Rome flight and they had to take the aircraft out of service for fumigation.
Mrs SS rang Qantas to ask why specifically her flight was cancelled and they were exceedingly coy and eventually told her that there was a medical emergency. I don't know wht they couldn't have been honest.

Thank you @ABC1 .

On Monday 19 October, the diversion to SYD was quite brief, with A388 VH-OQH arriving at gate in MEL as QF94 by 0913 hours, 148 minutes late.

As this A380 is forming the 0945 hours MEL-LAX QF93, that's been delayed to an expected 1110 hours pushback. No time for a decent internal clean given the lengthy time it takes for passengers to alight and new ones to board.
