Wednesday 21 January 2026 has seen QF127 (A332 VH-EBN), the 1115 hours SYD-HKG take off punctually at 1134, perhaps even a little early.

FR24 oddly claims it won't arrive at gate until 1914 hours, 84 minutes late - I added five minutes for taxiing to its landing time FR24 shows.

This is happening quite a lot: in the early stage of an international flight, FR24 exaggerates delays. Unless there was a very significant holding pattern on approach, it'd be very surprising if this flight took this long to reach Hong Kong.

that flight is scheduled to arrive at 1729 - flightradar 24 does take a few minutes to update after take off to reflect true arrival times
