I agree with some here that a class action individually amounts to 2 fifths of .... (you know)
I was part of the class action against ANZ which resulted in what amounted to a couple of six packs for me and made a significant payday for lawyers.
Even the prospect of frequent flyer points awarded for your damage is flawed, 6 million people times whatever. Just possibly results in bugger all as well.
My preferred result is more meaningful and brutal.
May those responsible for designing, approving, or maintaining the current QF IT security system be removed from the business minus any benefits they were otherwise entitled to.
Qantas would then be giving me true customer satisfaction.
