I have reviewed the Privacy Act 1988, the subsequent amedments and the Australian Privacy Principles Guidelines - Security of Personal information

"Sh happens" is actually not an excuse, and not permissible under the Act.

What does the Montreal Convention say about the matter? I’m sure someone will be along shortly to let us know…
