Just received an email asking if I'd like to join the Customer Feedback Panel (a quick search of AFF suggests this is not a new thing, with posts going back to 2010).

I'm wondering however if I will be asked to participant in another survey considering all my answers where positive (aka Yes I'm extremely likely to book QF on my next trip, yes I tell all my friends about QF etc...) and whilst glowing feedback is always nice, it doesn't offer as much insight as feedback pointing out the negatives.

So has anyone else received this email, and then only gave glowing reports and then received subsequent surveys?

I received about 3 of these from 8 flights this month with Virgin; The first I has mostly negative, but with all extremely likely to fly virgin again, and the second with all positive in general; still got a third. I don't think the airline has much to do with it and more-so just gets the final results (unless you tick that you are happy to be contacted about your verbatim at the end).

I got a similar sounding email. Tried following the link and the work system told me it was highly suspicious. I was going to ring to verify it's not a scam.

The email I got had both my correct SC and points counts at the top and had Dear "Harvyk", so for me it was either a scammer who really did their homework or it was on the level.

I also just received the Qantas email asking me to join the customer feedback panel. I accepted and look forward to providing feedback from my perspective.

I also just received an invitation. Initial survey has been completed and submitted already - terribly slow day at work!

The balances were about a week old on my email. :D

Been doing these for the past several years; last one garnered me 2 QP passes that I put up for grabs earlier this month. My attitude to this is, if they're asking for my opinion, that's what they will get - no glossing over the bad stuff and credit where it's due.

Otherwise what's the point?

It's not so much that I won't give them my honest opinion, but for me most of my QF flights have on the average to exceptional range of the scale. When I have had problems I tend to contact QF straight away to get the matter resolved (which they usually do pretty quickly) rather than wait until a survey comes around.

I do the same - but sometimes, it's only little things that I might think of as I do the survey; they don't warrant an email at the time, but are things they could look at for the future to improve the experience.

I also got this email today, also have registered to take part.

Bring the surveys on, lol

Yep.. got mine a couple of weeks back.. .get a ping from them everytime I get off a plane now... Hopefully there are some benefits for feedback :) - Perhaps everyone who gets a chance, puts in the "other comments" field "Bring back ASA's online!"

Received mine today.
Flying J next week so will see what comes my way.
I have a few flights booked for the coming 12 months , so far all with QF.

They're supposed to send out a survey roughly every second trip (although not more than once every 10 days) - so hopefully you're not getting too many pings!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Perhaps it's every second flight... (i.e. every rtn trip)... Am flying on Weds MEL-SYD RTN and then SYD-BKK on Sat so will update then...

Received the invitation as well. Interesting how the first survey is worded like if you are too hard on them they will not let you go any further.
