Alas, I'm going to be on the Gold Coast (Conference) but I am going to contact Peter and try to drop in on him tomorrow.

I posted this as perhaps others that get invited might want to get together at the Show??

Qantas Corporate Travel Show: BNE 2013

Didn't see a thread, but if so merge.

---

Just got an email inviting me to the Qantas Corporate Travel Show in Brisbane, to be held at the Sofitel. I've never been to one of these shows before, but a quick glance at previous years threads suggests that it should be quite informative, so I RSVP'd and am certainly looking forward to it.

It's on Wednesday 24th July 2013, between 12:30 and 14:00.

Anyone else going?

Do you think I'll get away with smart casual attire?

So I'm heading North and you're heading South ;)

Re: Qantas Corporate Travel Show: BNE 2013

If you go please advise the Captains of Industry at Qantas we want our ASA's back online and no more pop ups where that class is not available.

Re: Qantas Corporate Travel Show: BNE 2013

That was part of my reasoning for calling him Limewood. I am in the Brisbane Club Tower tomorrow for a lunch (12.15pm), so as Peter is in the next building, I have spoken to his PA and hoping to see him beforehand. Trust me, that comment will be front and centre!!

Made my day QF WP :).

Re: Qantas Corporate Travel Show: BNE 2013

Got my invite. Will be at the Brisbane one. :)

Got an invite too. Overseas that date though.

The ones I've been to before are casual affairs and worth it only for the lucky door prizes. Otherwise its basically a spam fest. No good deals or anything but still worth investing an hour if your time

Presume you've previously gone in company branded t-shirts so casual is fine?

No invitation for me. Shame, it's very close to work.

Got my invite again this year, but will still be in Queenstown. I'm sorry I'm missing it this year.
