Was just about to say this.I got the same survey.
It’s not actually new to QF, I used it with mixed success around 10 years ago.
Yes - Select on Q-Eat, which was later renamed Menu Select. It was even available to Economy passengers - with pre-order only exclusive options. Killed off during the pandemic. It’s not actually new to QF, I used it with mixed success around 10 years ago.
The NP offering is a palate cleanser rather than a full salad. Perhaps they could offer a sorbet insteadI wonder if they'll extend it to salads so you can have something other than Neil's leaves?
If a sorbet was served as solid as they serve ice-cream, you'd not notice the enormous wait between courses that we have to endure with the sooo slooow meal service. The NP offering is a palate cleanser rather than a full salad. Perhaps they could offer a sorbet instead![]()
lol… but it would only be a teaspoon’s worth. So shouldn’t be too long to waitIf a sorbet was served as solid as they serve ice-cream, you'd not notice the enormous wait between courses that we have to endure with the sooo slooow meal service.
That's why I don't fly Qantas Internationally because I needed more time to rest than to wait to dine.QF intl meal service is routinely the slowest of any airline - if the crew have to start sorting out who’s pre ordered what I worry will only make it worse
The speed of service has vastly improved from days of old. I managed to get a decent sleep on SYD-MNL a few months agoThat's why I don't fly Qantas Internationally because I needed more time to rest than to wait to dine.
